Save Yourself from Freckle

Freckle is a flat, circular small spot of melanin normally seen on the skin of people who have an extremely fair complexion, especially among children aged 5-15 years, but rarely among infants and adults. It develops randomly on the human skin, especially on the face, due to repeated exposure to sun light. It may occur in various colours including red, tan, yellow, brown or black, and is most often visible during summer among people who have red or light hair.

The two fundamental types of freckle are lentigines and ephelides. Lentigines are small brown, tan or black spots while ephelides are red or light brown in colour. One of the significant differences between the two is that ephelides appear in the summer and fade in winter, while lentigines do not fade in winter. There may be many causes of freckle including exposure to sun, accumulation of melanin, genetic factor and hormone abnormalities.

Fair skin has normally less melanin, thus making it difficult to absorb ultra violet rays of the sun. Therefore the pigment cells increase the production rate of melanin, leading to freckle. Some possible symptoms of freckle include change in skin colour, weight loss, cramp abdomen, skin cancer, moles on the affected area, blood in the stool and diarrhoea.

There are numerous effective treatments for freckle in the market. These include bleaching creams, chemical peels, cryosurgery, tretinon, laser treatment and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) therapy. However, with less exposure to the sun, there is less chance that you will need any of these treatments.

However, a laser treatment for freckles will greatly assist you in reducing the unwanted skin pigmentation from the skin, in case if it is a genetic factor or order by giving porcelain like clean and clear skin that will makes you look and appear gorgeous. In addition, you can eradicate skin pigmentation or freckles with cryotherapy as well where freckles are erased by a liquid nitrogen freezing. However, one can also have an Intense Pulsed Light Therapy (IPL) which will also reduce the freckles.

These different laser treatments will definitely assist in rejuvenating the skin and making it perfect as ever. Though, after the laser treatment, always make certain that you protect your skin from UV rays which can be harmful for the skin.
